pulling steering wheel 444-544 1965

As for pulling the steering wheel -- loosen the center nut -- leave it on a few threads to protect your teeth -- grasp the wheel at opposite sides with your feet planted firmly -- pull up with a side to side rocking motion -- it will release. As for the parking brake button -- I think it just screws on to the end of the rod but it's been a very long while since owning a 544 or 122-might be wrong about that. -- Dave
