one tail light wont stay on 200 1989

Well, I’ve tried what I can, which isn’t enough I guess; the passenger side rear taillight, bottom light, that comes on only when the lights are turned on as it's supposed too, is sporadic in staying on when I do turn on the lights.

It’s not burned out, so I tried “adjusting” the little metal contact things that sort of screw on in that socket to try to make it tighter and keep contact. It works for awhile, maybe even a couple months, but then it starts again as if it just couldn’t stay tight in that socket. Short of “soldering” it in place, any suggestions?? Thanks.
