Blinker switch broke 200 1991

Hi all,

Volvo 240 Sedan with 160,000 miles (1991).

My blinker switch (left arm with cruise control) broke. I took off the steering wheel column cover and took off the box from which the blinker arm extends (mounted to the steering wheel) that contains the switch. It is in two parts (i'm guessing that there were some tiny bolts that were supposed to keep it together. It seems like if I super glue that box back together, it will function again (albeit without the automatic switch that turns off the blinker after making a turn). Thoughts?

Thanks a lot,

Jimmy Ades
