In a word--yes. Driving the car on camping trails could lead to bottoming out the rear bumper or scraping the exhaust-or worse--the oil pan. Besides--some shocks will not work properly with a lowered suspension - check with the shock manufacturer. If you're interested in improving the handling after the new shocks start with sway bars. -- Dave
