Repair of windshield; stone chip.

I've had great luck with these repairs over the years but have found that they will look closely at just how repairable they are. Any evidence of crack spreading and they say "No way". I've also never paid anywhere near $79; my average is maybe $40. Try shopping at an independent glass shop instead. But get it fixed ASAP because they do spread, in part due to thermal cycling and wind stress, and once that happens you're in the market for a new windshield.
