The Phoenix 200 1985

I struggled with a no-start situation with my '85 244 M46 last year then finally gave up and it has sat idle for the last 14 months. Caught a second wind recently and narrowed the problem down to the 511 ECU which I swapped out with a 544 ECU. The son of a gun started right up and idled fine! Took it for a spin and it drove strong as though the last 14 months was merely a dream. OD doesn't work and it needs a new master cylinder and there's under body rust to attend to but, man, it's great to have it running again.
