check engine light 200

The service light is a just counter so it means nothing.

The check engine light means you need to pull the codes using the ODBI box on the driver side fender.

https://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/EngineOBDCodes.htm#FuelInjectionandIgnitionDiagnosticCodesi

IT require no special tools unless you use reading glasses.

The codes once read may not ACTUALLY point to your problem so post them back here for those that have figured out what some of the common ones actually mean.
