Spring Seats 140-160

The spring seats on my 1974 164E do not differ in height.

The right rear side of the was lower than the left. The difference was about the height if you put the seats on the wrong side hence my original post.

I changed the springs, seats and washer & nuts to a junkyard 200 series type yesterday until I can afford new.

The car now sits "level".

Maybe the springs were just worn out.

I seem to remember the previous owner saying they would use the tow hitch and go on vacation.

The third time I smashed my shin on it I removed it.
