Steering Rack Issue - ZF will not replace Cam 200

Hi Folks,

Yesterday we tried to swap in a rebuilt Jorgen ZF rack into my 91 245 which had a Cam rack stock. No workie!

The banjo fittings on the fluid hoses will not fit correctly onto the ZF rack. There is a barrel protrusion that is in the way and prevents one banjo from sitting correctly.

Anybody else have this issue?

I've talked to the Jorgen tech and they've sold 1800+ 240 racks without having this problem. ???

Thanks for any info.

Bert
