Water pump leaks?.. 200 1990

https://www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/volvopic.htm?js_link=&id=11885

I'm pretty sure this is where the water pump is leaking. There's a rubber gasket here, circled in yellow that tore off in my hand. Does this mean I have to replace the entire pump? Or, can I get at this gasket and replace it pretty easy?.. I'm aware I have to drain the coolant and replace with G05 to get at it.

Noted that the temperature gauge sometimes skyrockets, and I did hit a deer not too long ago. Which means I replaced everything up until the fan and water pump, however I did replace the timing belt. Just not the water pump. I suppose since I'm a cheapskate, I wanted to avoid replacing the water pump. OEM is like, $100 bucks and I'm weary of aftermarket.

Any advice would help. It runs like a dream, but the nickel and dime machine has been more of a dime and quarter machine as of late, and I've got some front suspension parts just aching for repair. Thanks!
