Nut Splitter

I need one for my Jeep. I would like one that does not cost hundreds of dollars and that can tackle 21mm Grade 10.9 (or similar SAE sizes in Grade 8) nuts. It needs to be of sufficient quality to cut at least a dozen without failing on me.

It needs to fit into a fairly cramped space. (rear lower control arm brackets at axle, about 1.5" from tip of bolt to parking brake cable boss on rear of brake dust cover, about eight inches from the ground, with a raised reinforcement lip on the arm that travels around the nut for most of the way.

The OTC one seems to be too large to fit in the space. Snap-On - forget it. Too pricy for my limited funds.

The nut is on the wheel side of the control arm, as stated, and the space is really tight. The head of the bolt has been ground off. I have my plans to pulling the rusted stem and the control arm once the nut is off. So no further problems in that regard. I just need a really good nut splitter.

Anyone?

Here is a link to a photo of the affected area. You can see on the inboard edge of the bracket the raised reinforcement lip around the bolt head. It is identical on the other side.

I have broken one 1/2" breaker bar, bent a second one, and smoked my 1/2" Milwaukee electric impact. Cutting is my final option. I have gotten all 15 of the other upper and lower control arm sets of nuts and bolts off. Seven of my new control arms are on the vehicle. This one last, stinking bolt is badly seized into the steel sleeve that is in the bushing. The nut will *not* come free. No acetylene, no Kroil, no BFH, nothing. So I need a good nut splitter. I have already broken two, one from Northern Tool and one from Harbor Freight. No one locally carries one of higher quality and there are no tool truck routes in my part of this State. So online purchase suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks. Sorry for the non-Volvo problem. But my 1990 740 is also in need of some nut splitting, too, so this will end up being used on it in the future.
