Nut Splitter

Hi Wade,

Thank YOU for the find. That 575 right angle adapter is less than the price of a tube of cutoff wheels. Worth a try for my uses at that price, but like the two reviews shown, I don't expect much from it unless the side load is kept to a bare minimum. That's something that requires a steady hand when laying on your back with neck tension, and in my case, proper eye protection over the close focus corrective lenses. :-) In other words, I'd get set for a tedious hour or so and careful monitoring of the gear housing temp rise.

It is hard enough for me to use a Dremel without my natural grip covering the vents.

Regarding the sending unit, it looks familiar, i.e. the yellow plastic, but I don't recall paying that much attention to the fuel gauge (sender) portion of this that cold windy day in my daughter's driveway under the MIL's 944 Regina. Watching your video, it seems obvious to me they have different springs -- no amount of friction is going to make that great a difference in what you recorded. It makes me wonder if one is for a metal tank and the other for a plastic tank. Also, understanding yours is a Bosch LH2.4 740, it surprised me to hear you have a Bosch tank pump. Is that from new? I've never seen one. They all are of the GM (AC/Delco) or VDO genre in my experience. But recently Bosch has begun to manufacture a lot of aftermarket things they never provided carmakers as OE, so times are changing. Even the Dremel is now Bosch.

If I would guess, I'd say that plastic tank with the Regina pump in it acted like the light-springed example in your video.
