Does anyone know if the obd codes for the LH 3.1 system on my 1990 5 speed wagon are the same as those for the LH 2.4?

I have a rich condition (I think) that results in a CEL and the codes 2-3-1 and 1-1-3 and sometimes 2-3-2. The other system is the temperature gauge is not functioning either. I checked the Fuel Pressure Regulator with a mighty vac and it held vacuum but the hose did smell like gas. Not sure what to think about that.
