Rotted 740 Electrical Connectors 700

Hello,

Their proper name is "bullet connector". But they come in many sizes!

Our cars' bullet connectors are VERY hard to find. The male contact size (like the ones at radio suppression relay) is 3.75mm. Difficult to get the female bullet connector with 3.5mm size either online or by going to the hardware store.

Usually I ended up using the same connector by cleaning them or lightly sand them up (with rolled sandpaper small enough to fit into them) before soldering them back with their respective wires.

In case of wire harness bullet connectors behind the strut towers (hidden near the firewall) I ended up eliminating them altogether by soldering each wire and heat-shrink them up.

Unless you order from Volvo (via many online options). Haven't done that so I don't have the part numbers.

Regards,
Amarin.
