hi sages- do appreciate that this forum is for 240 rwds and all the money saving advice you have given me . however do notice that many 240 sages here also have other model volvos probably due to the growing paucity of 240s especially rwds with 3 floor pedals. in any event, pal here is about to buy a used 95 850 wagon which looks good and drives satisfactorily. he saw my antique and sought my advice. it is automatic and fwd which i know are negatives. the interior and body are good for a car that old. engine is a 5cylinder. what is the rep of this model and engine. confess i know littleabout this model. figure it is not the equal of a 240. seller will sell for 1g. all systems work even ac although i know thatcan be faked. speedo doesnt work. hoping it is a speedo gears problem in the cluster which can be fixed like the 240 speedo- am i on the right track or a day late and adollar short. please let me know the scuttlebutt on this tank. thanks tons oldduke
