Manifold studs: 1) removal tool; 2) intake=exhaust? 200

1) I removed 7 exhaust studs, two missing ~1/4", using 'Craftsman Stud Remover 4458'. 2 required heat. A smaller one would be better as this one binds against the head on the upper studs. (I often just use a vice grips as it will usually slip before breaking off the stud.)

2) Does anyone know if the exhaust and intake studs are the same - same hardness? FCP euro lists exhaust studs (2 brands) but no intake. (Yes, I know they're cheap but when I want to finish a job ...)

Torques are different - 16 ft-lb intake, 23 exhaust - something like that
