premature 02 failure ~ 5,000 miles. 200 1990

I'm having problems with 02 sensors going bad very very quickly.
310,000 miles on the car and I keep it pretty well tuned up.

I just replaced it with a Bosch direct fit sensor and I'm getting code 212 and no voltage cycling on the sensor wire. This occured after less then 5,000 miles. Any ideas? I do leak a little oil but its by no means drenched down there. could oil leak fowl it?

thanks,
matt
