If using solid rubber bushes, use Volvo OEM. Volvo OEM remains made in Germany (now owned by ZF) Boge. Don't even futz with aftermarket bushes.

(Unless you can source made in Germany Boge bushes for Volvo.)

Check TASCA Volvo out of Rhode Island(?) if in the U.S. for price reduction.

If you want poly bushes in some or all locations, Whiteline seems to get the best reviews. You use synthetic silicon grease like SuperLube.

If using solid bushings, do not apply final bushing hardware torque with the Volvo suspended. No.

Solid rubber bushing replacement requires you set the car on a flat, even surface, resting on properly inflated tires. A wheel alignment rack would be best.

The wheel alignment mechanic, then, loosens the bushing securing hardware, and reapplies torque. We do this so the bushings are at their "relaxed" position when we apply torque.
