1991 745 replacement fuel sending unit questions 700 1991

Anybody replaced a new, expensive, Bosch (not Regina), combined tank unit on a 1987-92 745 wagon?

What worked for you? Please be specific --- I need some spiritual guidance. Nasty job.

My official 2001 Volvo Parts catalog has this listing:
Fuel Sending Unit, 740/760/940, B230F, B234F, (1987-92) with part number: 3507494-7.

I've only found a single vendor online selling one as a 3507494, (but without the -7 number).

What does the "-7" stand for on the Volvo part number?

I found a couple of other completely different part numbers, too--- 3547619, and, 3547204.

I'm lost. Please help. Point me the right direction. Thanks.
