What do you use for Lube for Door, Hood, Trunk Hinges, Latch receivers, and the Like

I'd been using heavy spray white lithium grease at least once yearly.

With the red straw in the white lithium spray nozzle, spray into the door hinges generously, and the trunk and hood hinge assemblies.

I also give a good squirt into the receiving latches on the door, trunk lid, and into the hood latch works.

The 140 series Haynes manual, from 1975 or so, says to use a Moly grease. Mind you, Haynes himself authored and edited the manual.

I think white lithium may be to light.

But better than nothing to keep them lovely little rear wheel drive door, hood, trunk and such hinges and catches and such all lubed up!

Whaddya you use?

cheers,

Cats like cheese so much that they eat the cheese, and then cut the cheese.

If you love it, lube it, like your rear wheel drive (RWD) Volvo!
