Key Broken Off Inside Trunk Lock 200 1992

Well, here's a pretty tricky one for you guys: the key for my beloved '92 240 has broken off in the trunk lock mechanism. This wouldn't be a problem, except that it's stuck in the position that disables the central locking feature. I would love to be able to get into my trunk again without spending a fortune; does anyone have any advice? I tried everything at https://www.brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=692390&show_all=1 to no avail, and we do not have the broken off stub any longer.

In the interest of full disclosure: there's an outer flap covering the lock, but there's also a small plate on the inside that slides horizontally, holding the broken key in the lock.

Thanks for the help!
~Nick
