Cutting Off While Driving 200

I have an ongoing problem that seems to be familiar to a lot of 240 owners I am at this point frustrated with the car running for a while and being concerned about when it where and when it will cut off next. The last time was when I drove it 13 miles to work with no problem. Later that day, about 6 hours later, I started home and about half way home over that same route, it cut off while driving. Approx. 5 minutes later i was able to restart it and drove for maybe 3 miles and it cut off and would not start again. had to get it towed home. For a couple of days it would not start. On about the 4th day it fired right up and I was able to get it parked in the driveway.

Prior to all of this, I have replaced the cps, cleaned the fuses and the fuse block terminals repasted the heatsink paste, replaced the spark plug wires and distributor wire and resoldered the fuel relay. I am at a lost on what to do next and need some simple directions on resolving this problem. Help will certainly be appreciated. Thanks all.
