240 drill and drip blower repair 200

Trying this repair and need to know what to oil. I see the shaft that turns the fan blades, and inboard of that I see a conical steel housing with a hole at about straight toward me. I tried getting oil on this shaft at both ends but I can't see that this will stop the squealing.Still getting air out of the vents, but can't take the sound anymore. So, where do I drip now that I've drilled?
