1993 945 regina rex car with 203k, always has alittle bit of a hard time starting when its cold but about a week ago it fired right I put into gear and it shut right down and refused to start, it coughed and farted but wouldn't start, after about an hour of sitting it putted to life very rough one cylinder at a time, and ran perfect for 3 days and 250 miles then the other morning nothing not even the slightest hint of combustion just nothing, it has spark, plugs are getting wetted, all injectors are pulsing, pump relay and radio relay are good, pump is buzzing, crank sensor is good, cap, rotor, plugs and wires are new. I have three regina cars and have swapped these parts from them which are good running cars - coil, computer on the right side foot well, map sensor, thing that the coil goes into, cleaned those contacts where the coil slides into the power stage or whatever is it, knock sensor, air sensor thing in the snorkel. intake gasket was replaced last year along with a flame trap cleaning, shined up and greased the contacts in the front corners by the headlights last summer, idle air control valve was cleaned about 50k ago, head is a remanned with 50k on it. catalytic converter has 50k on it, o2 sensor has 20k on it, coolant temp sensor has 50k on it. I've checked the resistance from the battery to the block on it shows .7 ohms.
I'm nearly down to guessing at this point there are a few ideas I have left
-fuel filter has never been changed by me so at least 50k but fuel pressure seems the same under the car before the filter as it does at the rail, I haven't hooked a guage to it see though.
-fuel pump was done last summer and was replaced with whatever they sell on fcp.com but pressing the valve on the rail and under the car it seems like the pressure is low based on how the fuel comes out it definitely doesn't seem to be 35psi. To add to that the pump sounds alittle odd, not sure why but it sounds different than what I remember. I do remember when it went out before it still buzzed but wouldn't start. the plugs are wet so something is getting through though.
-the computer under the left side dash, I can easily unplug and plug in to one of my spares.
-throttle position switch has never been changed so who knows, I'm guessing at this point.
-cleaning throttle body, cleaned it 50k ago maybe its clogged up again.
-timing belt jumped, it is in need of being done and was loose but I did tighten it days before this all happened, belt is still pretty tight but anything is possible.
I'm getting fed up with this thing, the weather sucks here and its been either 33 and raining or 32 and snowing for nearly a week now. I know this car very well and I have gone through most of it since I've owned it. I run my own garage and am ASE certified so the fact that this stone age engine is mocking me is driving me insane. Any help and thoughts are appreciated.
