Any Idea what happened here? 444-544

first hello all, I recieved my late fathers PV last year and semi restored it for my wedding so he could be there in spirit. Well immediately after we drive off it began to run really bad. I narrowed it down to the ignition and installed new points but no luck. Thanks to this forum I heard about the 75 240 with a b20 and breakerless ignition. After installing everything she fired right up.
But I could not get the timing set because the vac advance on the new distro hits the block. So I took more advice and pulled the gear and rotated the gear slot about 15 degrees reinstalled the gear and distro and voila I set timing to 16btdc. Seemed to be idling fine then just shut off.
Under the car good sized puddle of oil and a smaller one at the rear under the bell housing. Looks like front and rear mains blew out? I am baffled.
