Any Idea what happened here? 444-544

Well last year when I got it I did go through quite a bit of it to get it ready safe and driveable for my wedding. Rebuilt brake cylinders, new lines, filters, rebuilt the carbs, of course I did not change out the seals as they weren't leaking. In fact I put about 80 miles on it last October - December till I decided to park it and swap the ignition. the only thing i did other than remove and reinstall the distributor, was rotate the oil pump slot under the gear so that I could get more rotation on the distributor in order to set the timing. After closer inspection and without pulling anything, there is oil trails from the front timing cover, the oil plug, and the rear ran from between the bell and block? I don't see any pcv but cap is vented. Again this was a motor that had ran off an on over the last year and never had this happen Now looks like front and rear blew out? Pressure seems likely but why/how? Thanks for your insight guys I may just have to pull the motor and repair the seals.
