Won't Start when Cold outside 200 1988

I have an '88 240GL with LH 2.2. The car starts and runs fine when it is above 60 degrees, but won't start below that. I've replaced the fuel pump check valve and the FPR is new. When I crank it for awhile I smell gas.

I checked the coil, AMM, TPS, CTS at the ECU and all are okay. The ICU is a new rebuild from Programa.

It's been cold - highs in the 40s-low 50s and I haven't been able to get it to start. But yesterday it hit 60 degrees and the car started right up like nothing's wrong. Today, though, was only 45 and it won't start.

I'm baffled. I did replace some vacuum connectors (elbows) that were cracked. Those were the only bad ones I saw.

Any ideas?
