1974 164E BW35 correct speedometer cable 140-160

Hi all,
Went looking for a part number for a 1974 164E with BW35 and came up with part number 1215546.
None of the usual web sites agree that this is the correct part for me. Some say yes some say no.
I understand the longer cable length version superseded the others but I can't seem to find agreement that this is for M410 or BW35 or both.
Do both transmissions have the same cable attachment?
