Volvo 245 vs. Kia Soul 200

This morning a Kia Soul backed into the passenger rear quarter panel of my 87 Volvo 245.

The metal panel near the fuel door was pushed in about 1" and some bumper trim was lifted off its clips.

I got out, opened the tailgate, lifted the passenger side secret compartment cover, stuck my foot in there, and pushed the panel back out. I then pressed the bumper trim back onto the clips. There is no evidence of any collision remaining.

The plastic rear bumper on the Kia was already a ragged mess, having been rear ended two days before.

We exchanged insurance information and I went on my way (though I did file a police report and notify my insurance company of all the details).

Still, I love this old Volvo.
