type designations 120-130

I have the page, 03-1, from the shop manual that lists in general the type designations, not sure I completely understand how it works. According to the badges on my '62 2 dr 122s my body # is 4079, chassis # 4158 and type is 13244VA. Does this make sense? Could the body #, attached to the left front fender, be from a donor car?

I don't see the number 13244 listed under type designation, although there are numbers that are very similar ex: 13234. Further the suffix VA does not show up at all. The chassis number does fall into the range, 1-10499, "with effect from October 1961". This could be correct as the car could have been built in late 1961. And how about model letters? "A" "B" "D" "E" what do they mean?
