1991 940 estate 181,000 miles on the clock. I have owned this car for 10 years and never come across this before for when stopping I have always turned off the headlight's. This time I didn't and ALL the lights stayed on, I switched off the ignition then on again but the same thing happened, I have tried to make this happen but can't, sometimes they stay on and sometimes they go off, where do I start I haven't a clue
Question : are the lights supposed to be switched off manually or does the ignition do the job for me. Any info will be welcome it has probably been like this for a few years without me knowing
