Have you repacked them real wheel bushings with fresh grease?

I wish brickboard.com would be able to post the RWD and AWD sections together.

AWD and FWD Volvos also need them rear wheel bearings packed.

So, has anyone disaasembled, inspected, and remediated the rear wheel bearings on your RWD Volvo?

At how many miles?

Did the bearings looks good and you merely repacked them with new grease?

OR

You brought out the miserable slide hammer as your rear wheel bearings were neglected, the bearings were dry, and had blued. (Metal show blue from heat.)

Did you inspect the rear wheel parking brake shoes? These do delaminate, and they should be repalced also.

Just wondering. Call it an FAQ effort as with my 240, M47II drive shaft coupler.

How are them front wheel bushings looking? Oh, and seals, too.

cheers,

dud
