I read your shaking post. Was the car just cold? 😇

Did you use a mirror down there to look straight down the groove of the cover at the three O'clock area? That groove or raised bump is very hard to see without a light and mirror. At least for me anyway.

As far as distributor rotor it should line up "closely" to a "very fine narrow punch mark" on the lip of the distributors aluminum housing near a flat notch under number one wire.
It's really hard to see. I barely found it after reading about it here on the board.
Next you said you changed the crank seal.
So you might want to suspect that the sheet metal notched disk and sprocket are engaging properly to each other but you been there before with other belt changes.

Using a wooden dowel or a screwdriver is acceptable to know the first cylinder is up. You need to really have a good sense of movement with your fingers.
I still need a spot or flash light to see back in there to verify the notch to the raised boss on the engine down there.

Next did you rotate the engine clockwise several times after setting and locking down the belt tensioner?
All the marks should come back around to their respective lines every other revolution.

Do not pay any attention any markings on the belt itself after its spun.
