Headlights on in park position 700 1987

'87 745 Turbo M46. At this point I have replaced the headlight relay (new) and the melted socket (with new wires) Checked the HL switch connector, only one position supplying current with key off.

Headlights work normally in both positions (not dim while on park position)

Maybe this is nothing to worry about? Just thinking the melted socket and head lights on in park position are related? Seldom use parking lights.
