Thanks Bruce and Aleekat.
I do have a new 332-015-006 from Dave Barton. A diode makes sense! The 006 is supposed to be compatible with a 012 or 013. Will try to locate one!

Aleekat, I had to pull the ECU panel to replace the melted socket and did not see any additional damage when turned over.
