Help Volvo 760 Turbo won't run properly has 0 power/running rich? 700

Hi Brickboarders!

I hope you are having a great day!

I have an 1989 Volvo 760 Turbo Wagen with the red block engine w/128K miles. A month ago I was driving it and the car lost most of its power and wouldn't go any further engine was still running. The turbo had turned bright red. I think the engine is running rich. I replaced the air flow meter, FPR, and Coolant temperature sensor. You just barely start car but it will die if you try and give it more gas. The plugs are sooty.
A month before this happened I had replace the ECU with a used one because the engine was racing and after putting the new board in it ran OK.

I was wonder if the wiring to the coolant temp sensor is open and flooding engine with gas? I don't know how to really test this?

Anyone with any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Michael
