First--MANY thanks for the help I have received over many months, and it seems to have worked, at least as far as I have gone with the car--which consists of driving it around the block, without doors, glass or seatbelts.

I would like to equip it with a backup light and wonder if Volvo ever offered such as a factory option. Have found the two spare wires in the main harness to the rear and have installed a lead on the switch on the rear of the transmission. The light is not shown on the 544 wiring diagram. Is / was there a factory light, with a part number? Could someone make a schematic, scan it, and send to yurropal@hotmail.com? Again, many thanks!
