NEED HELP ASAP WITH BRAKE LIGHTS OUT ISSUE

Hi Guys!

My son is driving my 1992 240 wagon to Phoenix. He's in Pueblo, CO, right now, and his brake lights are out (so is the 3rd brake light). I asked him to check fuses, and fuse 7 was blown. He replaced the fuse, and as soon as he depressed the brake, the fuse blew again. The "bulb light out" indicator light didn't come on at any time.

Any thoughts as to what this could be? Anyone in Pueblo, CO? Does anyone have a resource in Pueblo who could look at this first thing tomorrow? He has to get back to Phoenix to work on Wednesday.

Any help is appreciated!

Many thanks,

Susan
