Strut Assembly 200 1990

Try a PickNPull. They're the same for later (if not all) years.

-remove the tie rod end nut and knock the tie rod out.
-remove the 3 nuts that hold the ball joint to the control arm.
-cut brake lines. If you could use the caliper, or it is cheap with the assembly, leave it on.
-remove the 3 nuts at the top of the strut in the engine compartment. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE CENTER NUT.
-carry whole strut assembly out (it's better to work on it at home).

(-use spring compressors to compress spring. Grip covered shock shaft with vise grips and use socket wrench to remove center nut. Loosen gland nut with monkey wrench or screwdriver and hammer.)
