Now that my teenage son is driving and messing up my 1992 245 on a daily basis, I find myself wanting to get another 245 wagon. The C70 Coupe I'm driving has been enjoyable, but I don't quite fee comfortable with the car yet. I'm finding myself wishing I was chugging along in a stock 245 wagon...

So I'm curious, how much would you pay for a 1993 245 wagon if you could find a decent one on Craigslist? I'm assuming the mileage will be over 200,000 miles, so I'm thinking that good paint, straight body, no rust, and some degree of evidence of preventive maintenance is all I could hope for at this point.

I've been through most of the major repair items on a 245 already, so I know I can do most of them. Things like water pumps, timing belts, head gaskets, blower motor, fuel pump, and steering rack all are things I can do.

Do you think it's possible to find a decent $1,000 245 wagon these days?
