Dies When Stopping 700

1990 740 B230F AW70 LH2.4

Installed new main and in-tank pumps recently. Car drives well. No more groaning from dying main pump. In-tank pump works.

When I pull up to a stop sign quickly it dies at about 10-15 mph.

It no longer flutters and dies as I accelerate away from a stop, nor does it hesitate at all. The dying is infrequent, but seems to be getting worse, so obviously whatever part is going out is also getting worse.

So far it has restarted strongly on the first try every time. It died three times on a test run of about 50 miles on state highway backroads and in my neighborhood last evening. (Temp was about 50ยบ F.)

Could this be that ignition amplification module thing?

I have to use this car today for a two hour commute, so I am not pleased that this is still occurring.
