Ignition Switch Question...not about how to remove it 120-130 1966

as there are a bunch of good articles, all worth reading a couple of times.

Getting a key made should have cost less than $10 at most any hardware store. The majority of the 122s on the road today have a starter button, as the spring inside the lock cylinder is stronger than the key and the key will break. So leave the starter button, just worry about getting the 'on' button deleted.

I am surprised that you have an electric fuel pump. There is a mechanical version on the left side of the block, it only creates 2-3psi at idle.
