re: 87 245 auto - brake fade under cold temperature? 200 1987

Hi All,

It was -22 degree out in Brooklyn this morning. The brake felt heavy and faded when I applied pressure. It was very dangerous to drive it. It functioned normally after 5-10 minutes. Does the reduction of friction cause under cold temperature like today?

* Flushed the brake fluid religiously at every 30,000 miles
*The brake pads & rotors have less than 30,000 miles on it. However, there is some glazing around the front rotor surface.
* Changed the brake master cylinder since I bought it.

Thank you as always.
