Volvo 240 Sedan - Drivers door lock won't lock 200 1992

It been cold here and at first I thought the lock may have frozen but now its thawed and its still a problem..

The key will open the drivers doors and all of the others doors but the key will not rotate clockwise to actually lock the door (perhaps a good thing if there is a problem somewhere in the mechanism). I've tried some graphite to lube it but that didn't help. I haven't had a chance to look inside the door yet. But do people think its the cylinder itself or the rod mechanism in the door? There's no movement whatsoever when I try to turn it. Suggestions?
