Suspension: Handling Vs. Comfort... 444-544 1964

Hi all,

I've gathered all the pieces needed to completely rebuild the suspension in my '64 544.

I'm starting to wonder if I made the right choice with poly bushings all the way around and Bilstein HDs in the front and back.

I have that combo in my 122 (along with a set of the IPD anti-sways) and I love the handling of the car. I can't say that I love it when I take long trips on the car. My 122 is great fun, but it feels like a go-kart, and I'd like to consider something more comfortable.

I'm wondering if I should go with rubber bushings and a set of OE shocks instead on the 544. (IPD anti-sway bars are going on the car once I address the rest of the suspension.)

I'd appreciate any feedback you guys might have to offer. I haven't gone through this process before on the 544.

Thanks as always.
