Broken Caliper Bolt - Replacing Strut Assembly FAQ 200 1992

So I've searched around and read a few threads about folks having this issue - a seized caliper bolt snapping flush with the steering knuckle. Well, it's happened to me too. The passenger side caliper bolts came out easily. But one of the driver's side snapped almost immediately. Enough of the bolt came out to show that it was not the proper OEM caliper bolt - different than the other 3 that all had the red Volvo version of loc-tite on it. So I suspect the last time I had my brakes done (years ago) the mechanic put some who knows what kind of bolt in there with either a ton of loc-tite, or susceptible to severe corrosion.

Anyway, unlike the gentleman here who solved this problem by drilling it out with a hand drill, I just refuse to work like that anymore. I simply don't have the time or energy. I've managed to find a good used strut assembly and will be making that swap in order Hopefully, Fingers-Crossed, Pray to the Gods, to save myself hours of unnecessary horribly uncomfortable, painful and frustrating labor.

So, are there any tips or tricks that I should look out for when swapping the strut assemblies? I will be swapping the mounts/struts/springs and brake disc as well. Even though that is extra labor, I hope to gain more 240 servicing skills in the process (never done these jobs before) as opposed to just cursing at drill bits.
