Transmission 200 1989

Ok so the m47 transmission on my '89 240 is making a noise. When in neutral it has been humming for as long as I have owned it. It is also Ticking in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th, but not 4th. With the clutch pressed it does not make any noise. It makes the noise when the clutch is not pressed and while driving. The ticking gets faster as the RPMs get higher. I assume that it is one of the bearings in the transmission. I have to pull the transmission to replace the gaskets anyway. Any advice would be great. Also if anyone has any walkthroughs preferably with pictures on how to pull and fix a transmission/ bearing replacements.

Also a new m46/m47/T5 is not an option.
