A very small leak coming from water pump... 900

This has just started very recently... a small leak of antifreeze is noticed on nut/bolt just below the little pipe that goes into the pump from the rear. I tightened the water pump belt a little, but don't remember seeing any antifreeze. About three or four days later I decided to go ahead and replace the power steering bracket since it was worn causing the belt to drive at an angle. I've replace the all the belts and rubber bushings about two years ago with very few miles driven since.

If you don't have a skid plate for your Volvo I would advise anyone to get one because whatever bolt, nut, leaks, etc... will sit there until you remove it most of the time.

After removing the skid plate, my ac compressor's clutch plate and small bolt dropped onto the ground. It was sitting in/on the skid plate waiting for me to put it back on. I've also recovered a long bolt and nut for the power steering too... not even the PROFESSIONAL garages noticed it or fixed it. Hmmm....? Anyway, AC works now! :)
I also noticed a small fresh wet spot too in the skid plate. A little oil from the timing belt area and then another very small spot where antifreeze dripped and just above that was a drop of coolant. Dang it!!

I replaced the water pump a few years back along ANOTHER heater valve and thermostat. Did the tightening of the belt do this? I kept the belt fairly loose and decided to tighten it because I read that a properly installed belt has 1/4" deflection in the middle. Should I replace it and what brand of water pump do you recommend? I think this one was HEPU.

I plan on doing the timing belt and seals too. Are the belt, tensioner, and seal kit at FCP what you would recommend?

That's it for now. Any help would be appreciated! :)

Best Regards,

GothM
