torque rod pushings 92 245 200

hi sages- need some advice regarding above. was looking for a noise source in the rear- sounded like the emergency brake parts had come apart in the rear drums causing scraping and clunking noises. hand brake continued to work normally and effectively . put rear end up on jack stands and took off wheels. pal and i got under the car . couldnt find anything wrong with the drum brake/ emergency brake apparatus. but found the two torque rods loose, which stabalize the movement of the rear suspension( have 4 shot bushings) , one at each end of the dog bone like rods. looks like these rods simply bolt off the frame. would then seem you take them to a mechanic with a press and he presses new bushings into the rod ends. is it that straight forward or it is a full 5F job in hiding. do the nuts and bolts need to be replaced. friend says to get poly bushings ($58) instead of the rubber ones ($40) which ipdusa has. your advice my sage bruthas? thanks tons oldduke
