thanks pork- appreciate it . was just about to put dot 3 synthetic in. by the way is dot 4 a greenish color? will go to parts store tomorrow and find some. curious why does the volvo require a fluid with a higher boiling point? system must develop more heat when braking. perhaps b/c it has 4 wheel disc brakes with power assist? regards oldduke
